Ripe black raspberry with dark plum under it and warm vanilla at the base. It is a deeper berry than most, closer to jam than to anything fresh picked, and the vanilla keeps it from going sharp.

Black raspberry is a fragrance oil, so this one sits in the Handcrafted line.

What makes this oil work is marula and manketti, two oils pressed from African tree nuts. They are unusually light for how rich they are, which is why the oil disappears into skin instead of leaving a film. Avocado oil and a little shea give it weight, castor oil helps it hold, and vitamin E keeps the blend stable in the bottle.

How to use

Best on damp skin after a shower. One drop is enough for both hands, so start smaller than you would with a lotion. Give it a minute to settle before dressing. It also works on dry cuticles and the ends of your hair.

Is it greasy?
Not if you use less than you think you need. One drop does both hands. Most people who find an oil greasy are using five times what the skin can take.

Is it vegan?
No. It contains beeswax.

How long does a bottle last?
About a month with regular use. There is no water in it, so every drop is oil doing work, and it goes much further than a lotion of the same size.
